George was quite a happy man and loved life. he always said he was grateful for any little extras that he had got in life. in 2002 he got cancer of the lymph glands and had 11 months of chemotherapy and never once complained, he then set about getting over it and was happy till 2008 and it came back with great pain for him, he decided when he died that he wanted to donate his body to medical research for cancer at Newcastle - upon- Tyne, his wish was granted by me in the hope that one day they will find a cure for cancer, . He is loved and missed every day by me, from his dearly loved wife Ellen xx
